BLAT!

A ripe, juicy heirloom tomato just calls out to be included in a BLAT. Y'know, a BLT with Avocado!

Country white toast + avocado:


Bacon:


Tomato:


Lettuce (also from One Straw):


And a spicy mayo (smoked paprika + Kick-Ass hot sauce):


Mmmm, BLAT!

  1. And, I thought you'd named a dish after an ilyAIMY CD!!!! I always eat tomatoes on toast (open face) for breakfast throughout the tomato barage. My grandmother taught us that (SO many from the garden , you see)and she lived to be 106!! Bacon was not part of Julia's morning fare...
